With The Turning
Yesterday you ran here beside me,
With your hand
Clasped around mine
With your fingers
Fold in mine
Your words are this way sweet
This way gentle and warm
As if they knew my thoughts as if they were Thoughtlessly kissing
And did me take the edge off total.
I knew that this time
Would be the last time
Because your eyes searched me
Your hands had me
And your words got me
Now you are alone
Now you run by yourself
You continued straight ahead
And I went along with the turning
Because I pass through for a wile.
I miss you
But once,
I certainly know,
I also won't see the turning anymore.
