The Longing
The Longing

I have this longing
for a life I never known
why is it so appealing
these ways the visions have shown?
I live this life
as I know no better
where then does it come from
that life that sings the latter?
After the moaning of the struggles I have given
After the sweet gospels of the better days
still there is always a last singing
a song of unknown better ways.
Should this hart be going where the dream begun
or there where the visions end?
How should I find this emagined place
the far away divine, has have me send?
I crave and crave so I keep dreaming
I have this many longings in my heart
but as long as dreams are fogs
how do I know where I should start?
