Picnic
A picnic underneath the stars,
An open sky with smiling moon.
Feels just like a fairytale,
That could happen really soon.
Golden rain falls up on us,
And we don’t seem to mind.
Being together is all we need,
Live can be just that kind.
The magic of the darkness,
The shimmers of starlight.
We forget time and place,
And dangle along like a kite.
The soft breeze leads us anywhere,
Although it is forbidden.
Denial no longer is an option,
Our truth we keep well hidden.
