The cost of victory
An ever ongoing problem seems to sort itself in ways unexpected,
So selective, so petit but bold. There's no mistake.. it never get's resolved,
The solution lies in change.
The memories you swear to keep of lovers met and still to meet, throughout life.
Don't be surprised you won't be able to keep it, there's your secret.
Strength lies in words which we all speak, and oaths we all solon swear to keep
It’s in the intention, I before mentioned.
The bonds that break are the ones that fade, not on purpose but by decay.
Unreliable so to speak, the strong still prevail the frailty.
So maintain and nurture those you seek, let caution lead you for it leads me.
One calls it the key to safety, some may even call it bravery.
It's here I don't know, what to say for an end never seems to be,
On my path, my guide, my own believes, the truth I need to set me free.
My survival still seems imminent, the question's in the pricing.
