I make a choise..
I am who I am,
trapped in this world,
of betrayal and suspicion,
where everybody is somebody else.
I do what I do,
forced by the past,
which choices are made,
I now pay the toll.
Choices that you'll never understand,
there in your world,
full of romance and love,
these choices do not exist.
There is another world,
my world,
an opportunity to escape from here,
grab with both hands.
I do not expect,
that you understand,
my side of the story,
is never heard.
You were the first,
for whom I do everything,
had to give up
my life was put in the balance.
You gave me back my pride,
the feeling a woman,
loved for who I am,
not my body.
Now you're gone,
I know that all is lost,
I am who I am,
I will always remain so.
Life,
has never been so bleak,
I always looked very far away,
still a glimmer of hope.
for the first time in my life,
a life where I have fought,
a life that consisted of survival,
I make a choice ...
not to live ...
